Transporting Dogs
Transporting an ACD is agreat way to help out. We are asked to take in ACD’s from Ohio and neighboring states, sometimes further if it is a special needs case. If you have reliable transportation, a cell phone, a crate, knowledge of handling dogs, and some time you can help get a dog to the safety of rescue and enjoy its company for an hour or two! It’s a great way to help and meet these wonderful foster dogs. The Board Members of OCDRT have all done many a transport and we always go home with a smile, knowing we just helped another ACD off to a great start.

Volunteer of the Year Award
We love our volunteers and select one to honor each year. The Lexie Glessner Volunteer of the Year Award is presented to a volunteer who goes above and beyond what is asked of them, is passionate about our rescue and our mission, and is crazy about ACDs.
