Meet Mambo
Basic Information
New to OCDRT on 7/13/2018, Mambo is around 7 months old and 27#. He is so far showing us he is a happy-go-lucky boy! He is started with his vetting & OCDRT will complete his vetting in the next 3 weeks. Mambo is very friendly and full of puppy energy. He introduced well to the resident neutered male ACD. Mambo will learn crate training, house training, foundation skills, basic obedience, leash walking, riding in a vehicle, dog, cat, and people social skills.
ACD experience is required to adopt Mambo. Please check back as we get to know him over the next 2 – 3 weeks.

July 23, 2018
Mambo is now neutered and micro-chipped, his vaccines will be completed by 7/28 and as long as he continues to progress well he will be ready to go home 8/4. Mambo is settling into his foster home well. He is learning house manners and that rude play is not acceptable with the resident ACD. He has interacted well with human visitors at his foster home and is catching on to crate training quickly. He is learning basic commands with ease and is very willing to work for food or toys! Mambo has had brief interactions with the two resident cats and is very curious but also able to be called off easily when the cats need their space.

Mambo has a deposit to hold him for a meeting with an approved adopter. We will update after his meeting.
