Meet Luigi
Basic Information
New to OCDRT on 10/22/2014, Luigi is around a year old. He entered the shelter as a stray and was not claimed. OCDRT was contacted to bring him into rescue. Luigi is very people friendly & was in play groups at the shelter. We see a concerned male who will benefit from being with the foster group. We will start him on crate training, house training, foundation skills, traveling in a vehicle, socialization, & leash manners. He recently had all his vetting completed.
ACD experience is required to adopt Luigi. Please check back as we get to know him over the next 2 – 3 weeks.

Luigi has been with OCDRT for nearly 3 weeks. He is doing well meeting stable dogs & will play once introduced properly. He becomes defensive if introduced to dogs who are defensive, so he continues to need socialization in this regard. He would do well in a home with a stable female dog. Luigi has started to wag his tail at his foster family! He is acknowledging his foster family as a good thing now & asks to interact. He has taken well to his crate training & house training. He had a dog sitter 2 times and she commented how much he has changed for the better. Luigi needs an ACD experienced home who will continue to help him socialize with people & dogs. No young children please.

Luigi has a deposit to hold him for a meeting the 1st weekend in December.

Luigi had his meeting and left for his forever home. We will update as he & his 4 legged sisters adjust.
