Meet Caleigh
Basic Information
New to OCDRT on 2/21/2018, Caleigh is a 4.5 month old (DOB 11/6/2017) 25 pound female who was an owner surrender at a shelter in Eastern Ohio. Caleigh is being fostered in Creston, OH.
OCDRT was requested to bring her into our program. Caleigh will have her vetting completed & undergo her evaluation to see what type of home she needs. She will learn crate training, house training, dog/cat/people social skills, foundation manners, basic obedience, and traveling in a vehicle while she goes to work with her Foster Mom.
ACD experience will be required for her adoption. Please check back as we get to know her over the next 2 – 3 weeks.

Caleigh has a deposit from an approved applicant to hold her for a meeting on 3/10. We will update after her meeting.

Caleigh is retuning to us through no fault of her own. She is now a year old, loves going to doggie day care, enjoys her people, and is current on her vetting. Caleigh is returning due to the resident senior dog not accepting her, and this is causing a lot of friction in the home. Please allow us to re-evaluate Caleigh for 1 - 2 weeks before processing applications.

Caleigh has been back for over a week and seems to be settling in well. Caleigh would love a home with a stable adult dog, who loves to play! She can live with a cat but needs continued training to not chase them. Caleigh is doing well with her crate training but is young & full of energy, so a home that gives her a mid-day break to potty and burn off energy would be great. She is doing well on her house training under our strict watch. Caleigh is a happy social young adult who just wants to please her person & play with her dog friends. She would excel in dog sports like agility, rally, or possibly disc.
